Seven years sailing together as a skipper team in Antarctica. With extensive experience, boundless passion, and unwavering dedication.

Loves being in the outdoors, whether rock climbing, mountaineering, biking or kayaking.

Years ago professionally on the white continent, in 2024 he looked forward to returning to Antarctica in a new and challenging way.

He (and not only he) still has a score to settle with South Georgia.

A life spent outdoors


Started hiking as a teenager and has been exploring the outdoors ever since. In the mountains of Europe, Canada, New Zealand, the USA, and the Himalayas – hiking, climbing, cycling, and skiing.

Worked as a trekking guide in the Himalayas, as an expedition doctor in New Zealand, and with the Scottish Mountain Rescue Team.

Fulfilling a long-held dream with Sailing SOUTH 2026 to South Georgia.

Interested in nature and exploring untouched areas

Enjoys hiking, climbing, skiing and sailing.

Keen amateur photographer.

Has already been to South Georgia and is very much looking forward to returning, this time aboard a sailboat.

Loves expeditions of all kinds


Has participated in various expeditions worldwide.
Preferably on foot – whether horizontal or vertical.

In the Arctic: Hiking with skis and a pulka sledge to the Magnetic North Pole and skiing in the Svalbard Ski Marathon.

In the mountains: Kilimanjaro, Aconcagua, Elbrus, Island Peak, Broad Peak (Camp 2).
